A local recycling center recently donated approximately 1,000 used children’s books to Books for Life. Upon seeing the books at the recycling center, one of the workers remembered the “Teach the World to Read” Book Drive and decided to donate the books at his local Dillons. Several calls later, he called Books for Life and the books were picked up and brought to the Wichita office. The books will be sorted and packed by volunteers and will be sent to underprivileged children across the USA.
